Owner (you or “Everyone”), use-by date, zone and photo. Scan a barcode or speak it in.

2. It gets an owner + use-by date

The whole house can see whose it is and when it expires — no more “wasn't sure whose it was”.

3. Share the fridge

Invite your kitchen by QR code. Everyone sees the same fridge, items and shop list.

4. Run the cleaning day

Weekly reminders, quiet hours and photo proof — past use-by items are fair game.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Pantry Pals works fully offline and local-first without an account. An account and live sync are optional extras if you want one fridge shared across phones.

How does cleaning day actually work?

Pick a weekly schedule and the app reminds everyone, with quiet hours so you are not pinged at 2am. Past use-by items are fair game — with photo proof if needed.

Is my data private?

Core data stays on your device by default; cloud sync is opt-in. We do not sell data and do not use your pantry for ad targeting. Made by Cloudy NI, ICO registration ZC222090.

How do allergen profiles work?

Set up profiles for each member. When anyone scans a product, the app flags anything that matches a profile — direct matches in red, possible cross-reactions in amber.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions and cancel there. Kitchen Premium starts with a 7-day free trial and auto-renews at £3.99/month unless cancelled.

How do I delete my data?

Clear app data or uninstall for on-device data, and delete your account in the app for the cloud copy. Full instructions on the data deletion page.
