Terms of Service

QR Forge · End User License Agreement · Effective August 2, 2026 · Version 1.0

These Terms of Service ("Terms", "EULA") constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("User") and the developer of QR Forge ("we", "us", "Licensor") governing your access to and use of the App. By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

2. QR code content & responsibility

QR Forge is a generator-only tool. You are solely responsible for the content you encode into QR codes, including website URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, contact details, email and SMS messages. QR codes are stored only on your device and only when you explicitly choose to save them.

You agree not to use QR Forge to create codes that are unlawful, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or that facilitate illegal activity. Wi-Fi passwords and other credentials you encode are your responsibility to share only with trusted recipients.

3. Intellectual property

The App's source code, visual design, trademarks, logos, and original content are owned by the Licensor or its licensors. QR codes you generate are your own content and remain yours.

4. In-app purchases

Premium features are unlocked by either:

All transactions are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google's terms and refund policies. A monthly subscription and the lifetime purchase are separate products — choosing one does not grant the other. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in Google Play. Virtual entitlements have no cash value and are non-transferable.

5. Advertising

The free tier includes third-party advertisements served by Google AdMob, shown as a persistent bottom banner (Home and History) and an occasional full-screen interstitial, never on the results area. Purchasing Premium removes ads while the entitlement is active. See our Privacy Policy for data practices.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. QR codes are produced to industry specifications, but scanning success depends on print quality, display, lighting, and the scanner used.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer, publishers, licensors, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities; personal injury; or property damage arising from or related to your use of the App.

This includes damages arising from:

  1. QR codes that fail to scan or encode content incorrectly
  2. Real-world actions taken using information encoded in QR codes (including Wi-Fi credentials)
  3. Interruption, delay, or unavailability of the App on your device
  4. Third-party services including Google Play, AdMob, or payment processors

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

9. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time. You may terminate this agreement by uninstalling the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 3, 6, and 7) will survive termination.

10. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Licensor is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
