Morse BeaconTerms of Use
By downloading or using Morse Beacon ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
2. Free and Premium
The app is free to download. The free version may display advertisements
(including banner and interstitial ads). Premium is an optional
auto-renewing monthly subscription (product ID morse_beacon_premium)
that removes ads and unlocks features such as the daily challenge, full lesson path,
custom phrases, and message history. An optional one-time Lifetime product
(morse_beacon_lifetime) may also be offered.
UK list price for monthly Premium is intended as £1.99/month; actual prices are set in Google Play and may vary by country and currency. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play policy.
3. Intended use
Morse Beacon is a utility for converting text to Morse code signals via your device's camera LED, and for learning Morse. It is intended for education, practice, and non-commercial signalling. You are responsible for how you use the app and for complying with local laws and regulations.
4. Emergency use disclaimer
While the app supports SOS and other standard signals, it is not a certified emergency device and should not be relied upon as your sole means of emergency communication. Do not use the app in situations where failure could cause harm.
5. Device requirements
LED flash requires a device with a camera torch. Performance depends on hardware. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device. Ads and purchases require a network connection and Google Play services.
6. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or redistribute the app except as permitted by law
- Use the app to harass, deceive, or interfere with others
- Use the app in ways that violate applicable laws or regulations
- Abuse advertising systems (for example, repeatedly clicking your own ads)
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
