PeriLogTerms of Use
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using PeriLog, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of service
PeriLog provides tools for tracking menstrual cycles, symptoms, mood, sleep, and other wellness data during perimenopause. Health data is stored on your device. Optional features include ads (free tier), a Premium purchase, and an end-to-end encrypted cloud backup account.
3. Not medical advice
PeriLog is not a medical device, does not provide medical diagnoses, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
4. Cloud backup accounts
Cloud backup is optional and off by default. If you create an account:
- Your data is encrypted on your device before upload (end-to-end). The server cannot read it.
- A forgotten password cannot be recovered, and the backup cannot be decrypted without it.
- You may delete the account and its backup at any time — see our data deletion page. Requests are processed within 30 days.
5. Premium subscription & lifetime purchase
Premium is an optional monthly subscription (premium_monthly, £1.99/month) or a one-time lifetime purchase (premium_lifetime), billed through Google Play Billing. It removes ads and unlocks additional features. You can cancel anytime in Google Play. Refunds are handled by Google per their policies.
6. Advertising
The free version contains banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. Premium removes all ads.
7. User responsibilities
- You are responsible for backing up your own data if needed (the app stores data on-device by default).
- You must not use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- You must not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app in unauthorised ways.
8. Intellectual property
PeriLog and its content are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the app or its content without permission.
9. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Check this page periodically for changes.
